School Transportation Services
Since 1988, Suburban School Transportation has dedicated itself to the safety and security of every student we transport. Over the years we have had
the opportunity to work with individuals from local school districts and build a reputation as a reliable company that genuinely cares for the well-being of the
student. We create our success with the recognition of the skills and efforts made by each employee, and it is our policy to work with all individuals in a
friendly manner and treat everyone with dignity and respect. The Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, and the school districts within
Northeast Ohio in which we serve prescribe the high quality of service required and provided by our company. Through our consistent, reliable, student-focused
service we continually strive to make a positive impact on the lives of the students we serve.
What Our Service Means For Students:

NO Multi-Use Routes EVER
Unlike cab companies and other transportation providers, Suburban students are NEVER on routes that include airport pick-ups, public fares or medical transports. -
Small, Carefully Selected Groups of Riders
Our routing department works with students and parents to create small, compatible groups of riders for the best possible outcome. -
Dedicated Team of Drivers and Monitors
Our drivers and monitors consistently obtain specialty training to help them better understand each students’ individual needs in order to provide a positive experience every day.
Students With Special Needs
The long-term commitment demonstrated by many Suburban drivers creates consistency, builds trust and enhances the services we provide to our special
needs students. To ensure the safety and security of each student, our drivers must meet stringent state requirements, including specialized training
for behavioral, mental, and physical challenges. Knowing the often subtle warning signs of trouble gives our drivers the ability to diffuse situations
before they arise. To further accommodate our students in transit, we utilize safety vests, booster seats, and other tailored safety equipment for students
of all ages. As needed, many routes also include trained monitors to assure the best possible door-to-door experience. Students who travel with our drivers
are more likely to arrive at their destination relaxed and ready to succeed!
OSSB & OSD Transportation Services
For more than 20 years, Suburban School Transportation has been pleased to provide safe, courteous transportation for students
from northeast Ohio attending the Ohio State School for the Blind (OSSB) and the Ohio School for the Deaf (OSD).
Both schools are located in Columbus, Ohio.
What Sets Our Services to OSSB & OSD Apart?
- Door-to-door service is available at the request of school districts.
- We follow OSSB's & OSD's calendars for release times and holidays.
- 24/7 on-call service is available.
- A Severe Weather Plan is in place, as safety is our top priority.
